Police officer shares brutal impact of being assaulted as defendant says 'I didn't mean to'

Luke Tombs, 34, from Solihull, pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker and received a 12-month community order, including 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 80 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £100 compensation to the officer.
